Calendar Resources and Support for Event Coordinators, Planners, Promoters


UPDATE: PUBLISHED! We are pleased to say the finished 2009 Calendar is being distributed. Our printer of many years closed late last year, a fact we did not discover until nearly the day we were to send the Calendar for reproduction! After some quick and compentitive bidding we found Duncan Press, Inc. of Canton. They worked us into their schedule and did a fine job of printing and assembling our annual. Supplies of the finished work are now in transit to clubs, shops, and other organizations across the state -- a sure sign of spring.

Pictures Wanted!

Do you have good quality photographs from an Ohio bicycling event? We would love to see them to consider for possible use in the Ohio Bicycle Events Calendar. There is no payment for the use of the photograph (only a photographer's credit line) but consider the excellent publicity such a photo would offer your event if it is chosen! Send any photos (slides or prints) to the postal address given above. Electronic formats can be sent to the email address given above if file size is modest. We can make special arrangements for big files. Be sure to include the event's name and the name of the photographer. Photographic prints and slides should also have the mailing address we should use to return photos (if return is desired) printed on the back of the print or on the slide mount. Pictures must depict cycling in Ohio. Cyclists must be wearing helmets if riding and practicing safe cycling if on the road. Make 'em fun, exciting, interesting, beautiful but please, no "crowd shots," no pictures of food lines. Deadline is Jan. 24, 2010 for the 2010 Calendar.

2009 ProtoCalendar -- The ProtoCalendar is a simple listing of dates and events generated from Calendar Questionnaires received for publication in our upcoming Calendar. NO LONGER UPDATED

2009 Ohio Bicycle Events Calendar Questionnaire in Adobe Acrobat format. This document is to be completed for each event that appears in the Calendar. Copies will be mailed to all known Ohio bicycle events and bicycle clubs but new events/new event directors may print, complete, and mail the form from this online resource. Don't forget to donate!
